So Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are having a field day in court after Jeannie sued him over infidelity, it was revealed that there's a clause in their prenuptial agreement that mandates Jeezy to pay some certain amount of money to her if he cheats on her.. safe to say the marriage is finally over.
For those who may have not been following this story let me give you a little recap. A few Months back Jeezy stunned everyone when he announced he was divorcing Jeannie and sources close to the couple revealed that the reason for divorce was ‘certain family values and differences’. The insider claimed that they had some misunderstanding which was due to Jeannie’s hot temper but they kept it low-key.
Fans questioned certain the ‘family values and differences’ excuse because it sounded like a PR and damage control. The case got more surprising when it was revealed that Jeezy filed and signed the divorce documents way back in June and decided to keep it to himself and act like nothing happened.
At first, fans thought that Jeannie must have known Jeezy filed for divorce in June and decided to keep it private, but going by her social media posts, it’s clear that she had no idea Jeezy filed for divorce. Just a few days before he filed for the divorce she praised and gushed about him on Instagram over the success of his book.
That definitely does NOT look like a woman who knew that she was about to get served divorce papers. She thought that things were great between her and Jeezy, so the divorce came out of nowhere and had her shook. Fans were upset on her behalf because nobody deserves to be blindsided like this, and they came for Jeezy and dragged him. What especially made people mad was that after Jeannie’s divorce from her first husband, she revealed she did not want to get married again and have kids but Jeezy changed her views on this, only for him to dump her and leave her as a single mother.
But a few weeks later Jeezy was spotted wearing his wedding rings again and sources revealed that Jeannie and Jeezy decided to put their differences behind them and reconciled. Inside sources revealed that their mutual friends played a role in their reconciliation and most importantly Jeezy did not want their daughter to grow up in a broken home and they just felt they could work things out between them.
Things went silent between them and fans felt everything was all good until a few days ago when different media outlets were reporting that Jeannie Mai had moved out of Jeezy’s home with their daughter and things had gone really bad between them and they were finally getting the divorce.
Inside sources reveal that Jeannie Mai is claiming that Jeezy cheated on her after they reconciled and put their past behind them. The source Jeannie claimed Jeezy cheated on her as payback because he believed she had something going on between her and her fellow co-star Mario Lopez. If this is true then it's petty from Jeezy because he revealed in an interview that real men don't cheat. So what on earth is going on?
This is where things get complicated because the media is reporting that Jeezy and Jeannie signed a prenup before they got married and the prenup states that Jeezy had to pay Jeannie some certain amount of money in the event of infidelity. So Jeannie’s lawyers approached the court to enforce their prenuptial agreement infidelity clause.
But Jeezy’s lawyers are claiming that Jeannie’s allegations were false and Jeezy never cheated while they were married, they claimed the couple had a heated argument which led to Jeannie moving out of their home, and y’all remember Jeanie once said she never knew she was hot-tempered before she met Jeezy
Then Inside sources revealed that Jeezy took Jeannie to court and asked the judge to set a custody schedule for their daughter because since Jeannie moved out of their home he has not had access to his daughter.
Jeezy stated that although Mai is making it difficult for him to visit their child, he doesn't believe she is intentionally being malicious. Jeannie’s "interference with Jeezy's relationship with their Child, again, while not generated from or with malicious intent, is nevertheless, causing confusion and tension between them and is working to stifle the development of Jeezy's relationship with the Child,"
It's sad how everything turned out because lots of people were rooting for Jeezy and Jeanie Mai, the love they shared, and how Jeezy would not even go near another lady. After all, he respects his marriage, and seeing a rapper stay loyal to his woman is rare and that was why they were fans favorites. But well it is what it is and good luck to both of them while they co-parent their daughter

While cheating is wrong - it still baffles me how Jeezy convinced a woman who didn't want kids to have a child with him - and how Jeannie didn't expect to be treated like his previous baby mamas. Oh, I 100% believe her. Jeezy is notorious for up and leaving women high and dry. He prides himself in putting himself first and I truly believe when he experiences any type of discomfort in his relationships he dips immediately
